Don Coqui, owned by celebrity restaurateur Jimmy Rodriguez, will open tomorrow in New Rochelle, NY near the New Roc City entertainment complex. The restaurant features Puerto Rican cuisine in a chic modern minimalist setting and if Sofrito Restaurant is any indication of what the food and drinks will be like, I'll be in heaven! This restaurant is so anticipated because it is the only one in Westchester County of its caliber. In a new business model, Jimmy is offering on/off site catering, cooking classes for kids including birthday parties, cooking parties with a wine tasting option, corporate events and gift certificates.
