Obama's Proposed Creation of Consumer Agency

President Obama recently proposed the creation of Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA). The proposed agency would make all financial oriented products clearer to consumers. Everything from mortgages, credit cards, loans and even bank overdraft fees will be required to fully disclose the risks and costs associated with said products. Not only will the agency curtail deceptive marketing practices but it is planned to promote market competition and economic growth. Of course this isn't going over well with the big wigs @ large financial corporations nor Bernanke but who cares? It sounds like a sound plan to me-more consumer focus and a little less BS. Personalized Gift Ideas

How many times were you baffled when purchasing gifts for the special folks in your life? It seems as though people have all they want, need and then some. Then you throw in the variables: their taste level, something unique that they can appreciate and you def don't want to gift anything that someone has already gifted-it's almost like showing up at a party to find someone wearing your exact garb-not cool. Saks features a nice selection of personalized gifts. This has been a fave of mine for sometime. I usually order from Things Remembered but I love the personalized plate sets for the kiddies and the personalized coasters makes for a nice housewarming gift-they work for both men & women. The coasters would go great with a set of nice wine glasses. Code SFASUM9 gets you free shipping on all orders @ saks.com.

The restaurant features Puerto Rican cuisine in a chic modern minimalist setting and if Sofrito Restaurant is any indication of what the food and drinks will be like, I'll be in heaven! This restaurant is so anticipated because it is the only one in Westchester County of its caliber.
